We’re very excited to announce two new Mark+Fold stockists in New York.
“I’ve been a long-distance admirer of both of these iconic stationery stores for many years,” says our founder, Amy. “I am really excited to see Mark+Fold notebooks gracing their shelves and look forward to introducing some new US-based customers to the joy of a Mark+Fold notebook!”

Goods for the Study, Manhattan
The shop aims to remind New Yorkers of the value of putting pen to paper in a digital world, acting partly as a museum of writing tools and partly as a practical shop.
The shops (Nolita, West Village, Midtown) are designed to feel like cozy, meticulously organized, Tokyo-style stationery shops. They feature items like Japanese pencils, fountain pens, and high-quality notebooks, often displayed on salvage desks.
Mr Boddington’s Studio, Brooklyn
This beloved Brooklyn store began twenty years ago when founder Rebecca Ruebensaal sought a change from her corporate job, and decided to channell her childhood imaginary friend—a globetrotting gentleman named Mr. Boddington—into a magical space to enjoy putting pen to paper.
Located on 7th Ave in Park Slope, the store features a red-striped, cheerful storefront offering hand-illustrated cards, stationery, curated pens, and whimsical books. Originally focused on custom, luxury engraved and letterpress invitations for New York brides, it has grown into a well-known brand specializing in hand-drawn paper goods.
